Extras to Bring on a Hike
Besides water, food, and other necessary supplies to have a successful hiking trip there are some other fun items you can bring with you to make your hike more enjoyable and memorable!
A journal
A journal is a great way to remember your hikes and what you
saw, encountered, and did that day. When you start to do a lot of hikes being
able to differentiate and remember each one becomes difficult, but you always
want to remember your hikes, or at least the most memorable ones! So, having a
small notebook on hand can be an awesome resource to you.
A camera
You are most likely going to see animals, flowers, and
beautiful landscapes on your hikes, and you want to be able to capture it so
that you can remember it forever! A great way to accomplish this is to by having
a camera. Our phone camera’s today are a lot better but if you really want to get
great pictures I would recommend investing in a camera, or if you already own
one bring it with you on your hikes!
Meditation/ yoga materials
A fantastic way to be one with nature and really be at peace
is to find a place during your hike to take a moment and meditate or do yoga.
This gives you a break during your hike to relax and also gives you a peaceful
moment while on your hike. You can simply download an app on your phone that
walks you through meditation as well if you have never done it before!
