Hiking Boots; Why you should get a pair & review of Timberland hiking boots!
First off, hiking boots make a HUGE difference when hiking, by keeping your feet supported, dry, and give you more traction on harder terrain. There are a lot of hiking boots on the market, that are pricy, but I got a nice pair for a reasonable price, and you can too!
I own the Norwood Hiking Boot by Timberland’s in dark brown. I purchased these from DSW and their were originally priced for $89.99, but I had a DSW coupon for $20 off and I was able to use it on this high quality brand! So, if your in the market I would go to DSW even though they do not have the largest selection they have good options and you can use coupons there to help differ the cost!
The product features of these boots are; waterproof leather & fabric, round toe, padded collar & tongue, mesh lining, cushioned foot bed, shock-absorbent foot bed, and rubber traction sole. These are all great features that are needed in a boot, but the only thing that is missing that can come in handy is a steel toe. These boots do not have this but the round toe is sufficient and I haven’t had any issues thus fair with just the round toe, but I would recommend getting a steel toe if it is offered in the boots you are interested in.I LOVE these boots so much and they haven’t failed me to this day. They are extremely comfortable in the soles and have the perfect amount of support, being the ankle boot they are. I’ve tested them through rivers, mud, and rocks and my feet stay safe, drive, and happy!
Good to know about the hiking boots as I am a novice and appreciate any good advice I can get, especially regarding the steel toe!
