62 Parks but this one Takes the Ice

There are 63 National Parks in America, and recently I have seen that there is an increase in foot traffic because more people are traveling to Utah for Zion National Park and Wyoming for Grand Teton & Yellowstone National Park. I think there is a different park on the rise and once it gains some more traction, I think that we will see it skyrocket in visitors.

Glacier Park

Glacier Park
Glacier Park is located in the northwest corner of Montana. I haven’t been there yet, but I plan to visit it this year, in the spring.

Lake McDonald
Lake McDonald

The park has a very unique lake on it called McDonald Lake perfect for visitors to view the beautiful rainbow-colored rocks and has the best view at sunset.

This Lake is one of the many draws to Glacier Park, but in my eyes the most interesting and beautiful things to view which I am looking forward to seeing very much.

Altogether, Glacier Park has stunning mountains, creeks, lakes, rivers, glaciers, and wildlife. This Park is 1,583 square miles making it the 12th largest park out of all 63.

Grinnell Glacier Viewpoint
Grinnell Glacier Viewpoint
For hiking here, some of the popular trails that are worth a stop at are Lake McDonald West Shore trail which is 7.4 miles long and will take you around the lake to get all the views and see all the colorful rocks this lake has to offer.

Another hiking trail to stop at is Grinnell Glacier Viewpoint which will allow you to see the breath-taking view of the glacier lake below that has a unique blue color.
